Careers Advice for Education Providers

Progress Careers (formally known as CareersInc) delivers high-quality, flexible Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) services to schools. We support schools and educational institutions to fulfil their responsibility to provide students with high-quality, external, and impartial CEIAG. Each of our Careers Advisers are hand-selected for their knowledge, passion, and commitment to delivering outstanding CEIAG. Our commitment to quality standards is evidence in all our staff members being members of the Career Development Institute professional register.

Careers Advice

Our approach is based on a 5-phase framework for action; this ensures young people can access the most appropriate CEIAG for their needs and aspirations. Our service is aligned to the Gatsby Benchmarks and supports schools in working towards meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks. The Benchmarks seek to set out what good careers guidance should look like in England.

  1. Understand the needs of the school and their students
  2. Identify required CEIAG interventions that align to the Gatsby Benchmarks
  3. Deliver impartial careers services through the likes of one-to-one sessions, careers sessions and assemblies
  4. Raise aspirations and allowing these to be realised
  5. Support schools to meet their statutory careers regulations
  6. Manage post-16 transitions and tracking, reporting on this regularly

At Progress Careers, we deliver a 360-degree service that supports schools to deliver a comprehensive careers education programme. From offering a bespoke face-to-face CEIAG service, to providing high-quality careers resource packs, our holistic approach ensures schools are fulfilling their responsibilities to their students. Our service supports schools in working towards meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks, and our management team work in partnership with school career leads to establish how our service can enhance the overall careers programme and delivery.
